Suzi Puryear, RN, WCN
Suzi works primarily with patients recently diagnosed with gastrointestinal and lung cancer. She helps them though the emotional challenges and acts as liaison in facilitating their transportation to and from treatment, securing accommodations for out-of-town family members and the coordination of all other support resources.
Laura Harsh, RN, MSN, APN, OCN, NP-C
As Saint Mary's infusion nurse navigator, Laura focuses on the delivery of expert care to those receiving chemotherapy. She meets with each patient, listens to their concerns, answers their questions, provides educational insight and makes recommendations for financial assistance.
Cara Caldwell, RN
Cara works closely with newly diagnosed breast cancer patients to create a partnership of empathy and trust, preparing them for the emotional and physical journey ahead. She explains the realities of surgery, coping with the effects of treatment and issues surrounding survivorship.
